General Ridgway was a man amongst men. Through his life of enduring achievements
in the U.S. Army, General Ridgway never lost sight of who he was, where he came from, and what was important to his beloved country. He was seen as one of America's most experienced generals and was noted for the transformation of the 82nd Infantry Division into the 82nd Airbourne Division, the re-creation of the U.S. 8th Army into an effective fighting force, and hiss truggles as Chief of Staff during the Eisenhower administration.

This hour-long biography contains testimony from soldiers who served with General Ridgway, unpublished photography from the family archives and exerpts from Ridgway's personal notes about his life outside the United States Army.
